Sarah Bates I waffle, therefore I am

Bunny likes to sit on peoples heads. I aim to take a photograph of her sitting on 100 peoples heads! This is where I document the process.

My Life List was finished on the 31st December 2010 as a way of tracking the "dreams" I have, that I'd normally be unlikely to achieve. The act of writing them down somehow changed the way I looked at them. It made them more likely to happen. Third Time Lucky is a story / illustration project I'm currently working on. It tells the story of Captain Capsize and her crew in their journey to find enough money to live on and in the mean time, defeat the Captains old nemises Captain Overboard, the dreaded pirate ruler of the Seventh Sea! I've been creating Drawing Tutorials for a number of months. These aren't set fast rules, or specific "How to Draw" lessons, but wisdom learnt from several years of calling myself a drawrer. Check out all of the tutorials here!

In 2005, me and a group of kids took part in a collaborative animation project with the help of the Community Arts Workshop and Connexions. I designed the main character and was her voice actor, too! The project was my first taste of film, and I want more :O
